Units and curriculum I've designed or co-designed, mostly for IB English B and Japanese Ab Initio at Shanghai Qibao Dwight High School.

• Japanese Ab Initio日本語

  Two-year scope and sequence · SL · Grades 11–12

  Built from nothing: a full two-year scope and sequence with assessments and resources, structured as a thematic journey across Japan that integrates cultural content with IB language objectives.

• Future City Building

  English B · Project-based unit

  A project-based English B unit that culminates in a public exhibition and authentic performance tasks. Co-developed with the subject lead.

• Anglophone Explorers

  English B · Project-based unit

  The same shape as Future City Building — student research driving toward a public exhibition rather than a written exam.

• AI at school

  Policy · Professional development · PLCs

  Part of the team that developed the school's first AI policy. Since then: running and taking part in AI-related PLCs, and delivering PD for colleagues on AI literacy, prompt design, and classroom use of generative text and images.

• Tiny Whoop FPV drones

  Elective · 2025–26

  An elective built around flying small first-person-view drones indoors — designed and taught from scratch.
